I bought this for my son who is starting college. I am a college instructor, and learned a lot! Ahem--alcohol and partying section does not need to be so long. :-(
I bought this book because I am a second year college student and I wanted to pick up some new tips on surviving college. I read through this book in about an hour and I have learned all sorts of new things I should try. I HIGHLY recommend reading this book, regardless of how far along you are in college.
Love all the great hacks. I've discovered so many things that have been useful to me. Things I never would have thought of, and they have saved me space, time and money. Very useful for the college student who is short on funds.
This book went over great for my younger brother who will be starting college in the spring. It was a Christmas present and he has already read several of the tips. He's not an avid reader, so I'm assuming this book has drawn him in with its' content! It's a decent thickness and seems to have some applicable tips he'll use!

Despite some redundancies in advice, most of it is useful. And I learned a few things for myself, like acupressure for headaches, some cool websites,, etc..
